5 Reasons I Smile

The ultimate goal of this blog is to spread awareness and show how beautiful life can be. We have four amazing daughters. Our youngest was born with Down syndrome. If just one person stops here and leaves with a different, better perspective about Down syndrome, then it is worth it. Regardless, I have 5 Reasons to Smile!

Down syndrome Awareness Month--- 31 for 21, SAFETY LOCKS!

4 Children and I have never used drawer or cabinet safety locks. I know some people may gasp, but I have never gated our stairs either.

Kamryn loves waffles and she knows where we keep them.....do they make safety locks for freezers?

She had waffles for breakfast. Every one else had the English muffins I had already made!

  1. I just caught up on your blog and I LOVE IT! I actually laughed out loud. Kamryn is such a character. I love all her expressions too. The girls knows what she wants! Thanks for sharing all the great pictures too. And your right life is so beautiful.

    Blessings,

  2. My wife and I were stunned upon the arrival of our little Drew this past Easter Eve. Three weeks early and every cell carrying an extra #21 to boot! My what six months can do! We're doing great, Drew is doing everything age-appropriate and is very strong. His big brother loves him to death.

And by the way, Target sells fridge/freezer/oven locks in their baby area. They're rubberized straps with adhesively held anchors. Work very well.
